The Problem With the Current SWPPP Scenario...

Many times the engineer/consultant will inspect the project site and then pass on a punch list of items to the site manager for installation/repair/deficiency. The site manager may or may not have the resources to correct the issue so they attempt to find a company or the contractor that has already left the site to come back and perform the installation/repair/deficiency. In that time, the conditions could worsen or the work simply does not get done. When the requested work is completed, a report back to the site manager or engineer/consultant is sent who will then also visit the site to document and provide another inspection to verify completion of the site work and upload the required documentation to the permitting agency. Multiple companies and people which will take more time and increased costs.
